Audi Avant S2 Westfalia Tow hitch

I have just bought an S2 Avant and it has had a tow bar kit fitted using a removable/hidden westfalia 305 117 kit. UNfortunately it is missing the removable bit so if anyone has one lurking around they are willing to sell than please let me know.

can anyone help does anyone know any firms that break lots of S2 Avant and may have something. Its a shame I can't use it to tow!

My brother in law has a spare removable towball from his old S4 avant i wonder if it's the same part, this is a genuine audi part btw.

Have you tried westfalia?
I have just fitted the very same hitch to my RS2.
The removable bit is a serious piece of engineering!

I tried westapalia though a UK dealer and they said it was no longer made and the ball hitch was not available, however audi have original optional kits still available at £700 is that a westaphalia kit? It is so annoying having that part missing, I even have the bag for teh ball hitch in the boot!

I may try contacting all the previous owners to see if they have it lurking in there garages!

Maybe the s4 one may fit could you ask if it would be possible for me to try it out?

I don't think the s4 one will work, in fact i have not seen a removable hitch as well made as the one your after.

Try towbarsdirect.co.uk ive just bought a westfalia removeable towbar for my Seat from them and they were very helpful and can probably find you an alternative since replacement parts should be available. Also check out towquippe since they have a big website with parts etc on too, but were less helpful & honest when I phoned them to order a towbar. The told me i needed relay electrics when they werent necessary
