  • Wanted -3B Samco boost hoses

Ok, I've got a huge boost leak. This might well be the time to re-hose the entire engine...
Is there a set of 3B Samco boost hoses going?
Water hoses as well while I'm at it?
Tart Red to match the car colour?

    Am I asking too much?

shame that i just sold my old hoses which were in pretty much perfect condition to allow the samcos to go on......

Probably worth pulling the bumper off and checking the intercooler too to be sure you haven't got a leak in that too?

Quite surprised there Dan, well worth full samco'ing the car for peace of mind.

I haven't had a single boost leat in 18 months since i've Samco'd the car

I've been burying my head in the sand and hoping I'd get away with it, but it's come and bit me in the bottom as it was always going to... Now, where am I going to get some new hoses from?

If you've not done the Mark H mod it could well be that is your problem. I think you can buy that as a stock part from Samco.

Great, thanks, I'll do the boost leak testing and see where we get from that. Any guide as to how to remove the front bumper safely?

Any ideas on the 3B boost hoses?!

as far as i can remember its the bolts inside the front wheel arches which hold the front of the arch liner to the side of the bumper, then fogslights out and there are two bols behind them that need to be undone then she's off. Sounds a doddle unless of course you have a siezed bolt on the arch liner like i have then you realise its going nowhere

Audiman posted a procedure on how to remove the bumper.

I'll see if i can find it.
