    Hello!

    B) Goodridge Steelbraided hoses (for front upgrade only, Left & Right)
    C) Ferodo DS2500 pads for 996 tt monos
    D) Antirattle plates
    E) 323x30 a8 disc! (are these to be found in drilled ones besides the zimmermans discs?want ones like in the pic)

I have the calipers (996 tt) from before..
I will pay asap as i needed the parts yesterday.

    Can someone help?

From my understanding..unless it's different were you are. But in America to make the Rs2 caliper brackets, & A8/S8 323x30 rotor work you need the 993tt Red caliper, or the GT928 Black caliper.
Allso you need the caliper to carier bolt..your old ones won't work. But the carrier to strut housing bolts will work.

I'd love to use the one piece 996tt caliper..but no workey

      What?

I havent read that in the other 200+ "996 upgrade" threads.
      Can someone confirm this?

the standard upgrade uses 996 C2 or C4 (or boxster S) calipers on RS2 brackets

996tt calipers are a fair bit larger & my understanding is that they require custom brackets..... search the archives for confirmation. I think 'Ross' was the last person to use 996tt calipers.

Just found a 996tt (same calipers as early GT3s) thread : LINKY which talks about custom brackets. But you're also involved in that thread so I guess you know all this already.

Drilled discs tend to crack starting from the holes. I prefer solid ones because of this.
Of course they crack only when abused on track etc...

Ah, yes now i renember. Thanks for clearing that up!

But, isnt the rs2 carrier 130mm between the mounting holes to the caliper? or was it 120mm?

cause here are the measurements on my caliper..

Porkkis: yes i am aware of that, but there have to be some aftermarket ones that are casted with holes?

Part numbers will clear the confusion.
              I think you have 996 turbo (gt3 mk1) rears.
The pistons are smaller than the 996 fronts - otherwise identical apart from the part number IIRC.

silly me forgot to mention that is is the rears.
But isnt the rs2 carrier also 130mm betweent the mounting holes, so that i could use one to bolt it on?

BRY: could you manufactre a carrier for me?

                  aaaah.

If they are rears from a 996t (as the part number confirms), then they'll be fine with the RS2 carriers.

You'll just need to switch the crossover pipes & nipples to convert them from leading to trailing position.

So whats the conclusion on this??? You guys lost me when you started to talk about C2, C4, Boxster, rear calipers..ect... As I said the reason I used the RS caliper braketts was cause the 993tt BigRed calipers were cheap..but the 1 piece 996tt calipers are obviousley better & lighter.

& on cross drilled rotors they do crack inbetween the holes. I got a pair of Zimmerman slotted cadium coated rotors..there wonderfull.
