They are readily available for any bearing/seal supplier. I posted a list of the part numbers for the Corteco brand in one of the v8 torsen threads, good luck finding it though as the forum search engine is utterly useless.

I searched 'diff seal corteco' and got:

        and

        Those any good?

If you give a bearing/seals supplier the sizes they can normally supply.

Assuming its not available from either a Dealer/TPS then its dimensions are listed as 94X3N. Not sure what the convention is with O rings but if thats ID x width + material than its a 94mm(ID)X3mm(W) Nitrile(material) O ring! Of course it could just as easily be an OD rather than an ID!
Thats sort of reading between the lines!

Found this in my email. The part number they sent for the left side was incorrect, but they can cross reference it with the Audi part number.

Just measured a thermostat O ring against the quoted dimensions and it does look like the dimension is the ID rather than the OD!

Just checked another resource and the round seal is listed as being Gummi-E70!
I think Gummi is German for Rubber. Not sure whether the E70 is the shore/durometer value or its profile. The other seals listed are either gummi/epdm/nbr etc so perhaps the N is not indicative of material.
Hopefully that should give you enough info to source the replacement. There may be a better solution in terms of material but that would take somebody with more knowledge than me to comment on although if you explain what you need , perhaps a supplier can recommend something suitable.

It does seem that the E signifies Ethylene-Propylene or Epdm/Epr. The choice of material may be important as Epdm has poor resistance to mineral oil whilst something like Nitrile has good resistance. Again a expert recommendation would be good!

Can you elaborate...i searched for corteco and got 7 threads and diff seal and got 57 results. We can take a look with some explicit examples of uselessness

I ordered both seals from AutoDoc the other day, £20 for the pair. Took about 10days to arrive from Germany.
