What’s the part number? I’ve got 4 here and they’re all different.

Long or short? Long one has built in relay, resets when you switch off ignition, has B suffix (yellow label is B5 switch I reckon..)

              Short 4 or 5 pin?

Short ones, 4 pin on right

Hm, ok, I wonder if we can repair it?

It’s definitely the switch and not a fuse issue is it? You’re getting power to the switch?

I can send you this long one I have to try and you can send me yours, I’ll have a look and see if I can mend it. Pm me an address

The fuse is still good, #16 30A and I've got 12v on pin #5 (smallest black wire / blue stripe), but nothing on any of the others (with the ignition on)
and no illumination at all on the switch,
I think maybe I should have some voltage on at least one of the other thicker wires ???????

The thick white/yellow wire runs from S16 30A to the switch. If there’s power to the fuse there should be power on this.
The late coupe diagram is missing this page on S2 central but a couple of the other years have this same colour wire.

If you’ve metered power at the fuse and the fuse is ok but there’s no power on the white/yellow wire at the switch then possibly the wire has come off the bottom of the fuse box at J75ah ?

This circuit runs from the X relay
If your fresh air blower works with ignition on then the X relay is working.

Ok, many thanks for that, yes blower works, so its more likely that a wire has come of somewhere than a knackered switch, I will have to do some more investigating
                            Cheers
