Wanted: Bucket seats and/or brackets

Does anyone have a set of bucket seats to sell? Ideally with a solution on fitting into an S2. Or just Recaro brackets or similar?

I think you can use mk2 golf gti seat frames with a bit if tinkering if I remember rightly might be more easily come by

I have a pair of recaro sub frames which fit an S3. I’ll check the dimensions tomorrow they’re probably mk4 golf same as

I think S3/Mk4 had different rails to earlier VW. Do you have any pictures at all to check?

Mk4 golf won't fit. I had a set to try befor. Mk2 and 3 ok.
I still have full Avant set if you need them Will.

These arrived from Germany today! Mk3 Golf ones, which by all accounts fit. So just on the look out for some Recaros now.

Result, I thought the mk3 golf ones were offset slightly differently to the audi ones?

That's what I thought too but I have test fitted and they went straight in direct fit. Part numbers 85.78.17 and 85.78.27. They don't look to have ever been modified either

Looks like you got lucky, just check for level, left to right to be sure they’re not tilted.

Luckily I'm a short **** so they should be fine for me
