Alright gents,

Does anyone have a spare MAF they would like to sell or even a known good one I could borrow.

I'm getting some strange behaviour and fault code 00553 appearing with the odd 00537 lamdba code too. Both MAF and Lambda have been replaced with not much miles on them, more so the lambda.

Also, where is the current best place to buy a brand new MAF?

There's a surprise eh, oh the joys of owning an old Audi.

I almost bought a MAF off someone on here a couple of years back, he bought it new from a place in Germany that i can't quite remember the name now, it was something like Autowec or Auto something, not Autodoc.

Does anyone know the name of the place i'm thinking off?

I have quite a few MAF's about, so should be able to find a working used one if you end up stuck. A new one would probably be best though but I don't think I have any left.

Pretty sure the price was £500 plus the last time anyone was lucky enough to find a new one

Yeh that's the one, cheers, unfortunately they don't appear to have any new MAFs available so you were right enough. Rikki offered me one first so may have found one, just waiting to hear back from him. Thanks for the help and offers Colsey, much appreciated.
