I had my radiator out the other day , lent on the same pipe and it broke away completely from the end with the 90 bend. I silver soldered it back together and so far so good. If you only have a few pin holes I would give the solder a try.
Mine is knackered too, but the car is off the road getting a rebuild. Has anyone simply replaced it with a small oil cooler? or would that be a bad idea?

I’ve one from a 7a
also broke one in the past. Don’t seem very sturdy
could one of the later ones be modified to fit?
they fit in front of the radiator on a v6 so would have to consider best location on an s2.
Thanks bluequattro , got one on the way as above, but yes, seem fragile.
On a closer look today, the curved end is brazed (or something, it has corroded slightly green) to the corrugated piece, and that's where it fractured, so I didn't nick it,
but just cracked the end off.....
Doh
Something with TIG skills should be able to fix it.
