Hi guys, im after front door seals and boot door seal if possible please and a sun roof seal as im wanting to un-seal my sunroof which was sealed shut years ago by a previous owner (metal not glass one)
I've got loads of C4 as well as some B3 Saloon and Coupe seals... What car do you need them for?
Depending on car the sunroof seal may still be available from Audi tradition, I do have one brand new one for B4's but that's in my RS2 parts stash.
BTW, you can almost certainly unseal your current sunroof. While the seal stops a lot of water it's far from watertight, it's primary function is to stop wind noise. If the sunroof was leaking then the drain hole's are almost certainly blocked or if you're really unlucky the tray is rotten which requires a lot of work to correct.
There's four drains, one in each corner of the sunroof tray, they normally get blocked with road debris where they exit and are easily tackled from bellow with a bit of wire.

It was sealed many year ago by previous owner , I imagine because water was getting in but there's still water getting in now through door seals and onto roof lining, mines a b3 s2 coupe 94 ABY
Coupe's can be a real sod to get dry, has your car ever had a windscreen replacement?
I think I have one pair of Coupe door seals left, will have a look in my attic tomorrow.
Im not sure but it does have a rush patch at the top of the screen however this could be down to the water getting in past door seals , bit of a bad design as the lip of the seals are more or less in the side of the roof so its easy for the water to get past -.-
Thanks for looking when you do im just currently trying to figure out why my brake pedal is now hard after getting audrius to do the brake conversion to vacuum
Boot seals are available on Tradition: 895827705A
I think it's just the drivers side door seal that's available new: 895831704F
The metal sunroof seal isn't currently available unfortunately: 895877297 https://audi-tradition-parts.de/de_D...available=true

No joy in my door seal collection I'm afraid and besides any second hand seals probably won't be in much better condition than your existing one's unless you find some from a low mileage car.
It is a poor design TBH, one of my pet hates is car's that leak, partly they start to smell but also take forever to demist due to the extra condensation plus it's not great for the floor pan.
It was Audi's first try at door's without upper frames and there's multiple weak points. If you've got rust a patch at the top of the screen then it's probably been changed which is normally the cause of water ingress. The A-post trim arrangement is horribly complicated and rarely put back correctly.
Coupe boot's are also renowned for leaking, that's normally water getting under the trim at the top of the rear panel, back lights can also leak.
Has the issue just started or have you been living with it for a while?

Since before I got the car so i normally keep it garaged . Its been off road years as I was doing all the engine work, finally got it mapped to just under 500 but already the roof lining is wet from the rain. (I also need to check as to why my brake pedal is hard right after getting someone to convert the brakes to vacuum , one way valve wrong way round maybe? I can't see any vacuum leaks ? And I also need my clock and gauge lights back on, its not the fuse, been looking for months, im guessing its the relay behind bottom gauges
There's a lot of info on here about how to fix various leaks on Coupes.
I'll try and find the threads they'll be sticky's in the bodywork section I think.
The main reasons for sunroof leaks is due to an item called the “drip tray” which is attached to the sliding panel. It sits across the opening just under the rear of the panel and catches the drips that come past the seal. When the sunroof panel slides back into the cassette the tray gets pushed back out of the way but if the runners get dirty it can get stuck back there. Often you can fish it out and reattach it to the sliding panel. Water ingress at the front of the doors is usually coming in past the long roof trim and running forward and down the A pillar. This happens when the trims are removed for windscreen replacement and not correctly re-sealed. This needs to be done with foam gasket, not sealant, or you'll ruin the trims if you ever need another screen and I believe they're NLA.
I've also bumped the thread in case the link doesn't work.
You can get your coupe dry, it just takes a bit of time, mine lives outside. It’s a little damp in winter cos I don’t drive it much but at one stage I had several inches of water in the footwells!

I have a door seal, I think passenger side and has lived in the garage for years rather than being on the car as it was a spare for mine. Looks in good shape and I cleaned it recently with gummi to nourish it. Let me know if you want any images.

I’m still convinced the water get into my boot via a place where the rear screen has debonded but the only way I might prove it is to remove the rear screen and refit it, ideally with a Quattro script screen haha
