The running of the car is completely different now and my MPG looks much better so it must have been from a dodgy batch of fuel.

I really do appreciate just how well the car has been maintained. Oh and don't worry, I am looking after the mighty OIL too. :mischeif:

As for pulling the ECU fuses, its not something I have dont but if you tell me how/which fuses I will pop out the office and do it shortly!

Fuse pulling - open the fuse box in the engine bay - at the front are a pair of fuses linked with a yellow casing - these are the ECU fuses. Pull those bad boys out (the yellow casing should take both fuses with it) and leave them out for about 2mins. Replace, crank the car and you're fine.

Of course, it'll also re-set things such as the fuel consumption stats, but I reckon you'll cope?!

Did the rounds today looking for prices for genuine replacements, didn't try GSF or ECP as others have detailed them before
        034 906 265 C/F or 077 906 265 B (prices incl vat)

Local Dealer £120 or £90, Vagparts (excl discount and postage) £113 or £94

Also did a search using the BOSCH Catalogue part no: 0 258 003 957

N.B. Bosch specifies the same part number for ABY/RS2/ADU, although as others have mentioned here before, Audi differentiates between them on both number and price

        80 2.2 S2 Quattro ABY 02/93-01/96 0258003957
        80 2.2 RS2 Quattro Avant Estate ADU 03/94-05/95 0258003957

Anyway using the Bosch part no, got a few quotes (including delivery) around £63, also available are a few Universal options mentioned in this thread and others, and also a few other manufacturers; Tomco, NTK etc

Eventually found a local place who deals with Bosch, phoned up when I was there , £50 (incl free next day delivery), still seems to be a bit of a mystery around some of the pricing and part numbers ?, can anybody detail the difference between the RS2 and Coupe lambda specifications ?
