Need some help with a few small euro-only parts

I was hoping to find someone on here that could purchase a few small parts for me at the dealership. My dealership here says the parts are Euro-only and that he can't get them in. Here's what I'm after:

Horn button w/ chrome Audi rings - 893 951 533 (from S2 three spoke non airbag wheel)
side mirror adapter plate - 8A0 858 551 (need two of these to mount my 993 mirrors)
bolts for mirror - N 103 259 01 (need 4 of these)

Perhaps someone could call for a price on these items?

You can buy them through Vagparts or Corey (quattronics) maybe even S2avant.

I'm sure they would ship to the otherside of the pond.

Well I can talk to my german audi dealer (I live in Denmark) and get him to ship the items to me and then I can ship them to you. But this required you paying for the shipment from Germany to Denmark and from Denmark to Canada. The shipping from Germany to Denmark will be around 8-10 euro.

I will get back to you with prices, etc.

Well just looked up the items in ETKA, and prices should be similar to this:

893 951 533 29 euro in black.
2x 8A0 858 551 total 12,30 euro
4x N 103 299 01 I think this should be N 103 259 01 total of 18,08 euro

Thanks Jonas. You're right about that part number - I've edited my post. Anyway, I appreciate your offer but perhaps someone else will chime in with direct access to a dealership so I can avoid the double shipping. I'll keep you posted, Jonas.

I'm a glutton for punishment (running the current GP on boost pods...), and would quite happily bung these bits in my suitcase and post them off to you next time I'm on your side of the pond (next week).

That's very generous of you! Any chance you could squeeze a complete S2 in that suitcase? Seriously though, I would really appreciate that. Where are you going to be next week? Are the prices the same as what Jonas has quoted?

Ben - I'll check the UK prices for you tomorrow, which will include VAT at 17.5%, but this should no doubt be more than compensated by the savings in postage and import duties, etc into Canada.

I'm heading back to the US next week, but postage to Canada is cheap from there and no duties between US/Canada.

If I could squeeze a car into my suitcase, I'd be bringing back a Corvette or a Mustang...

on VAG parts ordered my 044 pump mounting parts and they came in quick great service also.

Ben - I checked prices this morning.

Total cost for the parts and shipping to me in UK is £53.55.
I can't imagine it would cost more than US$20 to send to you from within US to Canada (when I get there), so I guess you'd be looking at a total all in cost of around C$140, to get to your door, using me as your courier

However, the UK prices include VAT at 17.5%, which I cant avoid. It may therefore be worth your while comparing the total cost of buying (and shipping) direct from a European supplier.

VAT is charged at 0% on exports outside of the EEC, so you save the 17.5%, but you have to weigh this saving up against the cost of shipping from Europe to Canada plus the import duties.

The total ex-VAT price of the parts is only £35.57, so if the total cost of shipping and Canadian duties is less than C$60, you'd be better shipping direct.

Wow the VAT really gets ya! I'm going to check with Martyn to see what he can do. I've gone through him for a few other things and it hasn't been bad. Hopefully I will hear from him before you leave for NA. I'll let you know...
