That is easier to get than IPA.

My car is better on fuel after it has been mapped! The autocheck says its 20.6 MPG and thats caning it most of the time. But having said that i have RS2 injectors and the displays reads about 4 mpg too high. So thats 16 MPG. Wow, wish i hadnt worked that out now

my 2 litre 16 mondeo does about 16-18mpg when I run across to sheffield!

went twice one weekend 160 miles and had to fill up again

              it's only got 130BHP...

Has anybody got a BTDT for mounting a gauge in the centre vent ? How do you attach the gauge to the vent ? I guess you route the vac pipe through the heater ducting & "T" it near the ECU ?

Has anybody fitted a guage down here....

....opposite side of steering wheel from the ignition lock?

I'm pretty sure that one would fit. It would mean leaning forward to view the gauge, but how often do you really need to watch a boost gauge anyway?

PS - sorry Paul for nicking your image

A gauge will fit down there as mine nearly did. U would have to cut the back off the pod so it cleared the indicators but it will go.

I was meaning flush against the dash. It would mean drilling a hole big enough for the boost gauge to fit through. I've had the clocks out of the dash a couple of times and there doesn't seem to be anything behind there, but I'm worried that if I drill a big hole and the gauge doesn't fit, then I'll end up with a ruddy great hole in my dash!

I reckon whipping out the voltmeter and just replacing that with a boost gauge is the best way - how often do you really look at your volts anyway? That would have the least visual disturbance and not require any hole cutting?!

Yes I was planning in fitting the white VDO boost guage, (see Avant S2's boost guage thread or :
                                http://store.summitracing.com/produc...earchtype=ecat)
where the voltmeter is. It should be a perfect match.
