I have a possible exhaust lined up from someone breaking a car but I don't know yet what nick it's in. Does anyone have something to fit the ABY i'm about to buy from Andy eRedz? Need it from downpipe back, although I have a back box from a 20v that I reckon will fit.
Sal only has a downpipe just now by the way - already asked him
cheers

200£ and I will look into the shipping but dont think it will be much over 20£
that's a bit more expensive than i can spend just now mate. I do appreciate it's a SS back box but really it's the mid section and cats that I need most
cheers though

cheers pete. i have a possible exhaust off someone on ebay breaking an ABY but i won't see it until i've picked up the car and driven for maybe 45 mins to see the guy.
there's no exhaust after the downpipe just now but andy reckons it drives fine. although loud. I'd prefer to get an exhaust on though. if i get the one off the ebay bloke i'm hoping sal will lend me a jack if i stop off and try to get it bolted up for the journey north. Rob (Nuvo) is coming with me to see sal and pick up some stuff. and to keep me company of course. who wouldn't want 6 hours or more in a car with the pleasure of my wit, anecdotes and intelligent conversation?

What are you interested in paying including shipping?
to be honest it wouldn't be worth your while mate. Raj (baltiboy) has an exhaust lying he can give me for £50 so if the one in england near the car i'm buying isn't any good I can pick Raj's up off him afterwards. I'll need to hang on a while before I pay for a decent stainless one.
I do appreciate the offer though.
Rob - cheers. I might bring a stereo and see if we can get that even louder. hehe

Be careful guys, I would be using ramps when doing exhaust dont want to be lying under car for a long time with just a jack ..are you flying down or driving down?
steve - no way i'm crazy not stupid. I'll be looking for a lend of ramps or jack and axle stands at least. there's no car worth me getting pancaked. We're flying down by the way. I reckon i would have hand luggae only but I can't see them letting me take a socket set and a couple of screwdrivers on as hand luggage.
pete - would you believe I was considering "what if i source an exhaust up here before I go down?" could I check in a full exhaust, tied up neatly in a big clangy bundle? i'm thinking it would have to go to the oversized baggage counter anyway.

haha. me? i'm as pale as they come. Although the Norn Oirn man with the Russian wife hasn't always been the lowest key travelling duo.
I was thinking that the sockets with pointy torx etc taken out might get through but I really will need at least a philips screwdriver to change the clocks (picking up replacements as existing ones are apparently boggered). Ach i've paid easyjet's £5 rip of hold baggage fee so at least i can use it if i need to.
