    Wanted: AAN 034 RS2 Chipset

    Hi,

Anybody out there with the 034 RS2 chipset for the AAN?

If there is, is it possible I can borrow the chipset for a couple of days?

Need to drive down to my tuner, and basicly need a chipset that accomodates RS2 injectors and AAN cams and not RS2 cams

I'm ofcourse willing to pay some kinda amount to borrow the chips.

    Cheers

May I ask why don't you just your standard chipset and disconnect the WGFV so your not boosting?

Do you think I can run RS2 setup on standard AAN chips?

I would think that it would run very rich due to the RS2 injectors.

How far is the tuners? I'm sure it has been done before IIRC or better still stick the stock injectors in and then change at the tuners

200 KM so a couple of hours. I dont have the stock injectors, I sold them

That is way I thought that the 034 chipset would be perfect, since the alternative is to rent a auto trailer.

Personally, I would be asking to borrow stock injectors as you are more likely to find these than someone who is going to lend out the 034 chipset!

Yeah but much easier just changing chips IMO.

changing the injectors takes about 30 minutes. lie jamo said leave the standards in and change when you get there.

if you are after a copy of a chip better asking for that. honesty usually pays

I'm not after a copy of the chips since I'm going to Sweden to get a custom map. I'm after a set of chips that I can use to drive over to the tuner.

I just don't know of any other chipset besides the one from 034motorsport that accomodates RS2 injectors and non RS2 cams. However I don't want to pay 600US$ for something that I will be using for 2 hours, that is way I wanted to borrow some.

Yes I could change the injectors, but replacing the chips is easier IMO.

personally id rather swap the squirters but thats personal preference.

i can unerstand you need but people may eb reluctant to send a chip overseas when their car depends on it also. easy to get injectors, harder to get chips.

maybe paul can help you with a homefry chip? not too up on those so not sure myself.

Each to their own, you have my advice as I can't see there being many offers of chips especially the 034 chipset

Yeah but if you don't ask you will certenly never find out if anybody actually had some chips they wanted to lent out

I mean I'm still in oki time, no going to Sweden before end of october.

But it does seem that urquattro-island can help me out.

Hmm, i drove a year with aan chip. Rs2 turbo and injectors. Not a big difference in fuel economy.
