rs2 inlet manifold

I used to have one too that i bought of a very friendly forum member, i then sent it to another forum member that i assumed to be friendly too and he was supposed to have to chromed and returned to me in two weeks..

That's the last i saw of it........

lesson learnt was, assumptions are the mother of all **** ups!

About 2 years ago...

He kept in contact till the work was done on the manifold 'supposedly' and then just didn't send it back to me.

I sent about 20 emails and texts as well as loads of phone calls.

What I am saying S2 bo is that I would be happy to help out all members on the forum if they wanted stuff from Germany...the forum has helped me so why shouldn't I return the favour?

Thanks Si Blythe, I'm sure people on here will find that very useful especially as ebay.de has a lot of s2 bargains coming up where the sellers are not willing to post outside of Germany.

Bry any more details on the inlet manifold?

Being serious for a second...

ABY and RS2 inlet manifold are identical in dimensions, but only one has that Porsche logo on there. If that floats your boat then OK.
Can we imagine the price of the RS2 IM if Porsche had actually modified it in some other way to persuade more power outta the engine - IMHO its a pretty expensive logo. I'm not trying to put anyone off buying one - just want to make sure people know what they are/aren't buying.

ABY and RS2 IM are both a little bigger than the 3B and RR item so there is a gain to be had on that setup by fitting the larger IM.

Does the RS2 IM require new fuel rail when fitted to the 3B or is it a straight swap?
