5kg front pulley

It all needs some serious lightening. 1kg steel pulley, 7kg FW and a lightened and balanced crank should completely kill the idle nicely

not having seen a 3b or 7a pulley bearing in mind i have no aircon is a swap from an aby to a 3b/7a front pulley a viable option worth looking at too.

Yes but you need to use a 7A/3B alternator too. I tried to change the alternator pulleys over and found the actual alternator is different.

IMO change to the 3B pulley with the 3B flywheel, and preferably get them both from the same engine.

Is it possible to use the flywheel from the 200q the 1B engine on a aby with 6-speed
gearbox. I have a special ring that the needlebearing going to be pressed into.
This flywheel only weights 8kg.

Thanks to James for supplying a 7A flywheel and it looks like this now.




It weighs 7kg and has 15 -1 teeth so i can do away with the crank sensor on the front pulley.
