Might as well run it for a bit if it's new and get the bnearing replaced later on. Or get a secondhand one, have it refurbished to the right spec and sell the new one off?

We all know Si wont actually ever fit it...

So you may as well just sell it to me

(I'll do you a good deal on a detail... say RS2 turbo + cash for a full colour correction? )

hmmm.. im not expert but the one i had in my hands did have the badge on the other side.

What would this indicate? Its not a standard k24 7200?

The identification tag should be on the back of the seal plate on the RS2. There is no tag on the compressor housing itself. The compressor housing on the RS2 is very distinctive if not unique. I'll get a shot so you can see what I mean!

Note the triangular part up to the exit and also the numbers.
                    Oh, the answer is no!

Hmmm.. spoken to the guy on the phone, he's got an S2 and is a forum member, and assures me it is a completely standard RS2.

Id provisionally agree'd to buy it, but now im getting cautious.

Does it look like anything people recognise?

Get a close up picture of the blue plate. It looks like the one that was on ebay claimed to be 410 bhp?

twoqu - Cheers for that. Ive seen your turbo disection thread so its clear you know what you're talking about

Thanks to Jamo's alter-ego as a private detective/stalker we've found the exact turbo!

Ive spoken to the seller and am getting some pictures tomorrow, which should prove its not a k24 7200, and ill post up further info for other peoples benefit when i do

It's not a standard RS2 otherwise it would have the compressor housing I have shown previously. Its either a ur/200 or Porsche Turbo K26 based turbo. Look at the compressor inlet. Its only 50mm rather than the RS2/S2 inlet size of 55mm.
I asked him for the numbers of the blue tag on ebay and am still waiting for a response!

After my Wolverine style tracking skills the turbo came from Jade off the forum, I know it's a K26 compressor it actually looks like a K26 / K27 turbo
