Anybody used that dude in Belgium who can recal 2bars to 2.5bar or3bar. Something like 80 Euro a touch though - which is a bit steep.

Alternative is Motorola 250kPa if you don't mind getting creative on packaging - I want to build a lil PCB to carry those actually. Price is dirt cheap on them. Get them at Farnell - send me a PM if you can't find them.

Hopefully I have located an OE one now! Just wanted it to look stock in there.
Might be worth waiting for Paul to get his rse in gear! There are some alternatives on ebay.de.

www.ultimot.de sells an OE one for 299euro and their own OE copy for 184 euro, not cheap but hey.

Or you could go Vmap-D but think they are around 200 euro

Thats the Belgian fella I was referring to - couldn't remember the name. Bummer if he has gone under... I have come 2bar MAPs that I'd like to get recalibrated.

Uhhh - I've heard that name before - it would make sense if that was MB - but I'm not sure at all.

Some wizardry is required to reverse engineer those MAP sensors - or maybe his cousin worked for Bosch and accidentally took some schematics home - LOL

Surely the .de implies Germany. If its the same MB I am thinking of he had a novel approach to customer care. When I say novel, I mean what appears to be endemic these days - none!
