Get it measured up:-

• Diameter of wire
• Diameter of spring
• Number of coils
• Free length
• Compressed length if possible

Yeah I thought 69E seems alot for a piece of coiled wire... the $45 from 034 is enough but the postage is another $30 hence the group-buy consideration!

Unless I can get one from someone here then I think I'll get one ordered up.. a batch of 5 would come in at about £3 each by the looks of things

If you've got the appopriate measuring tools then specc'ing up the stock spring could be a good idea as a basis of cost estimate

I'll have a look, no callipers any more as they were from work Need to see if anyone has one lying about... You can wind the WG in quite a bit, might work OK.

i know... it is expensive, but for example i have a friend with another S2 avant who has bought a 100% same 1´9bar wastegate spring in a mechanical parts store for the half of money, and it works well haha but only whem it is cold ,because whem it goes hot it lose some of the spring strengh... and my wastegate spring not.. it works perfect ALWAYS ,cold or hot

I fit a 034 spring 1.9 bar yesterday and the problem I have it is that the spring is a bit bigger in diameter than original and makes a noisy sound when the wastgate is working .In my opinion it is the movement of the spring because is a bit bigger.

no problems with noises when i used the 034 spring. it may be something else

The strange noise is from spring because is moving a little bit in wastegate in horizontal plan .After this I changed the 034 spring with original one and I took the car for a spin and there was no more noise from wastegate.Is it true the original spring is smaler in diameter than the 034 spring ???

Mihnea fitted it for the RS2 turbo map so when we did the GT30 I said I wanted to keep it in. I can get 1 Bar on a light throttle about 1.5 Bar half throttle (he did a part throttle boost control) and only get 2 Bar when I floor it and hold it there.

I'll go and look see how many I've got, I'd say about half way between .4 and .9, whats stock boost on a UR? Less than 1 Bar for sure, about .7??

did anyone try to use a wasegate from MC 10vturbo on 3B,AAN,ABY or ADU engine.

i have this wasegate at home. the sprig is mutch harder than on my 3b.

by my opinion - 3b have 100% hardest ,this mc wasegate have 250-300% hardest
