Aha, I think you're talking about the grille surround, not the stuff around the windows. Any ideas whether it's possible to paint that without making a mess?

I think they have some sort of rivet arrangement on the inside, you need to strip the doors down to get to the back of them, the same goes for all the trim in the boot etc.Comment

Matt black tape is good, paint will eventually fall of from the crome.
