    WTD: Fluro lined hose

Replacing the PCV hoses with a Newsh special Tpiece and before I go and buy 1m lengths of hose, thought I'd check here if anyone has some excess to sell instead from an old project etc.

    I need:

    8mm ID
    20mm ID
    30mm ID

    ID - internal diameter

It needs to be oil/fuel grade rubber or silicone hose not standard as it perishes.

Let me know what you got

    Cheers
    David

Fluro lined hose is OTT for PCV hoses.

I have had a silicone set fitted thats not lined and its been fine for 3 years...

Save your money as its very expensive stuff.

The only thing i have found is that blue discolours after a few years, maybe from the oil, so if i do it again i would get black hose..

If you need elbows for the hose connection then copper plumbing joins make great cheap alternatives to the expensive alloy or stainless steel ones.

Use rubber hoses, oil kills silicone the plys come apart.

dont worry i'm going to be keeping a close eye on longevity of blue silicone having just ordered it all...having said that, the extra cost of fluro lined silcone is so extreme they can discolour and fail a few times before it would meet the costs of that stuff

If you want a short bit of fluor for the 30mm to the T piece I've got some, its one kidney per foot

Seriously though, you only need 50mm for this and the heat and oil will kill the silicon, it goes all brown and floppy (oo er)
