Is VEMS a good choise for strocker project with GT4094 ?

    What would you say,guys?
we heard that some guys in Germany ( PK motorsport) can use and adjust MOTRONIK in 750hp strocker....any suggestions?
Give us an opinion please !

Yes check out FECO project built and vem'd by Pnanassy

      It's a stroker with a GT42RS, my VEM'd car is a stroker with a 3076r

You could have the motronic mapped yes, your only consideration there is what injectors are you using.

Yes he can... but he is using an additional electronic component to use MAF Sensor on pressure side... he also offers a plug&play standalone ECU without using MAF Sensor...

We will use hi impedance 1000cc injectors.
Yeah,I know about your strocker with GT3076 ,Jamo
But I tought that it will be much difficult with this GT40

Nah, not at all any decent ecu should be able to handle it.

There are a lot of options open for you my advice is choose one where you are going to be able to get support ( this doesn't mean it has to be local ) from suppliers and other people using the same ecu

Like AndersS2 has gone for Autronic in his S2 as the local support is good for him.

Didn't realise they finally changed it. It's been a couple of years now since I had my last VEMS experience. Glad it's improved.

Yeah big shift in the last 12 months, wiki still sucks though

Having used VEMS I can see why other ECU's cost more as you are paying for the professional documentation and stability ( version 1.1.70 and 1.1.74 now both stable releases ) as it's a young product in that respect, you really need to get your hands dirty but dirty is how I like it

Well, to be honest other MMS systems like Autronic have more functions and are more tweakable for fine tuning; if the user is capable enough.
VEMS is like MS? Because of the microcontroller? Times changed.. same goes for KMS.. people called it an upgrade of the simplest DTA.

The question to ask is: Do you need those extra functions? Is it worth the extra penny's? Why would you like to have an more expensive setup? Perhaps because you want to maximize fuel economy by using injector trim time value mapping, or work with CAN-based nodes like a digital display.
For (most, if not all of) the applications i see on the forum it clearly is not worth the extra money.

How is VEMS doing on dual mapping these days?

Wire up a switch, and you can run dual maps, change on the fly although it is advise you change maps at low revs

I've got it but not tried to change maps as of yet on the fly.
