Need an S2 back in my life!

Morning all,

I really wish I hadn't sold my S2 but at the time it was the right decision.

Anyway, I'm back in the market again but there doesn't seem to be that many out there.. There's a couple on PH etc but the only one that really interests me is a 92 which I think seems on the pricey side considering its not an ABY.. but one with RS2 performance extras would be to my liking seeing as my last one had them

If anyone knows anywhere else to look please advise.

you're where I was about a month ago. I spent ages looking for an S2, I wanted a black ABY coupe, which is exactly what I ended up with, but I paid too much!! The only places to look are pistonheads and on here. You occasionally see them come up on autotrader and other random websites for example "AM Cars" have a nice ABY on classiccarsforsale.co.uk

The advert is very old. The car actually has 4995 in the window if you go down there, and you'll get it for 4500. I went to look at it. I couldn't work out whether it has had a full respray in the past, it was hard to tell as the paint is excellent, certinaly doesn't look 16 years old, and there aren't any obvious signs its been sprayed. Interior was mint. Took it for a test drive and it went like an 8v gti. He kept kelling me "they don't fell that quick mate" so I walked away.

I'm up for selling my coupe, its well known on here, currently running GT3071 full 3" 034 system MRC remap. Very quick. Full heated black leather , big brakes etc..

Oh, and I just fitted a new sunroof

I've seen and been out for a test drive in Dest's car, he won't be back not with 470 bhp and all mod cons at his fingers.

As much as I still LOVE S2's, I definitely wont be going back.
Im not going to try to claim the S4 is better, because its not, the key word here is DIFFERENT. They are both very good for different reasons.

Anyone around the Northants area that fancies a ride you only have to ask

I'm not far dest. A 45 min drive for me. Becareful what you offer as I may well turn up as my mates are trying to get me to buy an s4 at the mo.

A word of warning... I had a ride in Aidens ~500bhp S4 and had got one myself 4 weeks later

Lol. I drove a mates s4 when we took it to corneal a few years ago. With the Revo stage 4 map it was 350? Or something bhp. Was good fun but the fuel costs were scary. That's why the s2 was a better option for me but at the mo it's horrendous!

Fuel costs on a CORRECTLY RUNNING standard or remapped S4 wont be much worse than a homefried S2.
Start changing turbos etc and it gets very expensive fuel wise if you have a heavy foot!
