I currently have a Miltek cat back system on my 1993 ABY Coupe and would like something a little louder, Its a single box system and obviously runs from the cat back.
If anyone has an aftermarket exhaust that they would be interested in swapping let me know!
Cheers
Martin
I've got an 034 Motorsport full 3" system on my Coupe which is a bit loud for me. What size is the pipework on the Miltek?
I suggest just swapping the back section. Mine has no cats but I've added a small centre box. We'd both need to do a little work but its just a matter of choosing the right place to cut
Hi mate,
Just read my post again and think I must have been half asleep when I wrote that! There are 2 boxes in the miltek system, a centre silencer and the back box. There are 2 joins, one on the cat side of the centre silencer and a 3 bolt flanged join just before it goues over the driveshaft. It is a twin tailpipe that are slash cut.
I'm afraid I don't know what the pipe diameter is. Maybe someone on here could advise?!
Ok, I thought it would be 2 boxes as I had one on my car originally, I think the coupe milteks were 2.75 inch..
I'm not sure how this would work then but I would want to keep my 3" system till just before the back axle. The 034 system joins with V bands. We could do a straight swap of rear sections, mine has a very small rear box which sits diagonally behind the axle and finishes in a straight 3" pipe, I can supply an oval tip for it which I;'ve never fitted. I guess though, if we did this we'd have to meet at an exhaust place somewhere where the welding could be done
