    Hello gentelmen

I just have broken my shift linkage.
I've sawed the 034MS short shift but is expensive to me. 120 euros at home

Some ona have an original shift linkage?
Is ABY's one the same than the AAN's one?

    Thank guys

    Which part have you broken?

AAN and ABY are not the same AFAIK.

aan's different quite a bit, you can make a short shift from oem audi parts from later models, i've just got rid of one as I can't use it on my urq.

PS: the piece that is broken is the rubber piece on metallic "box" where is the shift. Tomorrow I'll put pics.

        Thanks guys!

I think there's increasing need for shift linkage refurbishment... at 15+ years they're all getting pretty tired now!

I am hoping to pull my shifter linkage off in June - I think the ball joint is completely worn (always popping out) and there is loads of play - intention is to sort it, I may just bite the bullet and refit OEM but I'm all up for trying an alternative, as long as it retains the reverse lockout...
