WANTED - digital clock for 1994 S2 ABY

WANTED - digital clock for 1994 S2 ABY

Hi - my digital clock (the one that sits in the speedo) has been playing up for years.

Does anyone have a second hand working on they would sell.

I've had the instrument panel out, and guess it can't be that hard to unscrew and replace.... hoping anyway

Mine was playing up, the clock is connected to the cluster with some long pins into sockets on the circuit board, clened them up and squeezed the sockets carefully to tighten them a bit and all good since

The 2 long pins in this pic (cheers Jasiin)

I need to do this too. (Slightly scared of making my cluster worse to be honest!)

Will have to bite the bullet and see what I can do over the winter....

Can you buy / source a seperate digital clock?

                Cheers,

yeah it's not cheap though Steve, IIRC about £70

                  893 919 203 for the VDO
                  894 919 203 for the UN4

Not sure if they are interchangeable.

Cheers all - especially Newsh and Jas11n for the pics and guide. I've got the instrument cluster out to fit a new ignition switch this weekend, so want to have a go at the clock while I'm there.

It's got one of those intermittent faults where you can correct the time, and then it just suddenly shows random times, so I reckon it's probably just dirty connections. I love my contact cleaner spray!

I'll let you know next week
