A tall order, but I'm looking for a replacement green digital dash for the '84 ur quattro pictured below. Alternatively, any contacts for people who are expert in repairing fried units would be most appreciated.
ps.do you do any rallying/hill climbing with your car?i saw a urq in nz 4 or 5 years ago at a rally on the north island,got some pics somewhere
The car has been in our family since 1990, my father rallied it in the NZ targa a few years back. 2003 maybe? It has been in storage for quite a while now, looking forward to getting it running again

no it was definitely either 2006 or 2007(more likely 2006),the only years I have been over there.So probably not yours.
We were driving down from auckland to hamilton I think it was and spotted a few rally cars on the outskirts,then spotted a urq being towed so we asked a local about what was going on and he told us there was a rally on the next day.Went to that and then after that all the cars met up in a large hall somewhere where you could go and have a nosy.I think there was 2 or 3 ur's from memory,I shall find the pictures tomorrow for you.
The 84 car has a light green, sort of turquoise colour display, the only year with that colour IIRC so not easy to find a replacement, I was using the dash from an 85 car in mine for a while and some of the symbols were wrong, till I got my one fixed by Peter Knight. Good to have the original one back in, much prettier
