One of the former keepers bought them at a Audi parts supplier over here but I don't think they do them anymore

As for painting - I know a lot of the golf guys use this type of paint to get the finish that was applied to the run out MK2 models & it's renowned for not lasting...

The best results I'm told come from heating the plastic up...

Never done it myself as would rather buy the originals - but there are plenty around...
