Although the 3B FPR is 3 Bar and the 7A is 4 Bar, they are both of the bolt on variety. The NM and 7A FPRs are both 4 Bar.

Here is some FPR info with PNs:

            Isn't the 7a 4.2 bar not 4 bar?

No but if the car was mapped with a 7A FPR and you thought it was 4Bar and you swapped to an ABY fuel rail/FPR setup the fuel map would be about 5% lean.

The 7A FPR is the recommended mod when going RS2 spec on a 3B cos it allows you to use the stock rail and pipework.

Cheers for the clarification John - I'm not going ABY anytime soon so shouldn't be an issue. Once a 3b....always a 3b(+)

I bought an ABY fuel rail and FPR just to get the untidy fuel line moved below the manifold but I've not done anything with it, maybe if I ever go coilpacks and have to remap..

anyone confirm if there is a true 4.0bar fpr which works with the 3b fuel rail/line setup?

If you have a part number from the family album that would be great - thanks
