    Coil packs

Don't suppose anyone has the odd 2 laying about, 2 of mine seem to be playing up?

Is it definitely the coil packs and not one of the POS's? Seems strange that two would play up at once. Easy to check by just swapping the POS wires over.

POS wire? how to swap, I'm not sure it's the packs because they were fine before engine swap

If you left them in a damp area for a while it could have caused some damage to the coilpacks. Other than that possibly bad wiring (brittle)

I have a few spare POS available as I've swapped to coil over packs. Is £25 each reasonable?

Had hesitation under idle and no boost but was fine at high rev and high boost 1,4-1,5 , was one of my POS that was burnt, changed them to some spare and the car runs good. Not a common fault but it happens

Replaced one of my POS a year or so ago, due to a missfire - they break up inside probably down to engine bay heat? on that theory, I used some of that heat dissipating grease that they use when building computers, I put it on the back of the POS before bolting it to its mounting
