    AAN PAS pump mount

Does anyone have a spare AAN power steering pump mount they want to sell?

I need to respolve some running issues due to the current location of my PAS pump and the AAN mount may just help lower the pump enough to solve them.

    Cheers

Is the pump banging into the reversed IM? Maybe you can mod the tensioner bracket and fit a shorter belt? It took me ages to find the right belt but I got there in the end. The Wagner IM comes with a shorter tensioner arm, I could take measurements for you if you like.

Steve is trying to run both the alternator and the PAS pump off one belt, which is the cause of the problem, so a different PAS bracket may help. The other thing will be a couple of tensioners to sort things out.

Due to the reversed AAN inlet I have needed to bring the PAS pump forwards and lower down. In this position I can run the alternator and PAS pump on one 45 inch V belt with the alternator having movement to tension the belt. The issue is that even with a belt guide between the crank pulley and PAS pulley I'm still getting slap in the belt. When I give it lots of revs quickly the belt gets thrown off the pulleys. I'm hoping lowering the PAS pump further with the AAN bracket may help me add some additonal tension and provide more options for belts and location.

Doh! Nevermind i'll catch up with you again soon. Probably looking for an ABY/AAN alternator and harmonic damper/pulley.
