Is the v6 a quattro. Do you have one or even pictures?

I think any injection petrol quattro tank should fit.

Yes all c4q petrol tanks are the same.2wd ones are plastic and a diffrrent shape.not sure thry made any 2.6q???car looks good in pictures.You got any of the engine?

No I need to take a few. Building a new one though.... involves an ael block

Right well after a day of struggling I got the fuel tank out. It has some general corrosion here and there but one area were it has went right through. Now on removal I had a nightmare of a job disconnecting the rubber filler hose. I ended up destroying it so I need to replace that too. Any sources for theses?

My worry is how the hell are you ment to install the tank and fit the rubber fill hose. Whats the secret cheers des.

Did you undo the metal part of the filler from near the fuel flap?you can have the pipe off this s4 with pleasure when i get the tank off

No I didnt remove the metal part at all. That would make sense lol. So I need to have a look at that. Is it bolted on or what at the filler end. Cheers

Theres a small screw behind the rubber gaiter under the fuel flap
