Well, I need to cut threads in them, so I don't want to blast them, I want/need smooth surface, I just need some that don't have pitting, some surface rust is not a problem, I will probably zinc plate them and in the process the rust will go away.
In general I am searching for struts not from the UK, because you guys have the worst cases of rusted parts I've seen...
These are my struts from my car, but they are 50mm...as you can see it's possible to have almost perfect parts from a twenty year old car...
