Yeah I have got a few 3B/7A & an AAN tube - both different unfortunately

Nope that looks like a 3B one unfortunaely. The ABY one is cranked and has a tab to attach the top to the inlet manifold

No worries, I was going to suggest swapping a 3B one for an AAN one.

Off topic but is the AAN one slightly bent to clear the intake?

Andy, yes the AAN one is similar to the ABY one, but a different shape as the inlet is different. You can have this one I have here if you need it?
It is different to the 3B where it meets the block though, might need a bit of work to make it fit but nothing major.
AAN & ABY dipsticks are longer too, so you'll need one of them n'all.
