wtd: Throttle cable cam

Wanted, throttle cable cam. I need the black plastic cam that the end of the throttle cable attaches to along with the cable securing clip if possible please....

anyone know if 034 still have a minimum postage charge? It was £30 to the uk iirc when I was going to order something a year or 2 back

The basic cost of about £70 isn't too far off the mark to have a small batch made in steel and then zinc passivated. It's quite a complex piece, perhaps a little more complex than the water pipes I have made. Could try some hard anodized alloy versions or even a delrin item. As the OE item doesn't seem to wear out dramatically, I can't really see the need for anything many times stronger.

I haven't even looked at it in detail or taken it off the car, but if I can make a batch of ten for reasonable money and sell them, mine comes free!

Danny, the owner, has an S2 and is a member on here. I don't think they have them in stock but ordering from them gets you around the postage/import duty issues.

They'd be nicer in anodised alloy and wouldn't go furry like a passivated part. Also how about making them a bit bigger so you get a faster action throttle

Like John I'd personally prefer a hard anodised ally piece, although mine is not broken I'm sure it will one day so I will take one if any are getting made
