Nice one .That's nice to know .He's not greedy then. I can't see it being worth more than he paid for it and that assumes it has impecable service history!

Finding factory fresh will require plenty of patience. I've spent the last two years getting my Sedan back to factory fresh finish and she was pretty much perfect when I bought her. I've done a full OEM RS2 conversion on the engine and I've upgraded the brakes and suspension to cope. Everything I've done is bolt on and I've kept every single original part removed from the car and will be refreshing everything this summer so that 'if' I sell her or find a decent donor avant she can be converted back to standard with all the original parts. Until then I'll just be dry storing everything along with the car that won't be driven on the road until all the salt and winter has gone.
Although I was recently tempted it would take a lot for me to part with her and I'm sure that's the case for anyone else with a factory fresh example. They do exist but definitely don't come up for sale very often.

I'd pay €15k for it, not €22k as advertised.

I'll show you my factory fresh 18-23 year old cars tomorrow. Pics on another computer. They do exist, worth the wait and the money.

Exactly. Easy peasy to remove the brakes and getting an original set of 16's is easy. I think your being to picky Rob or is it dreaming???

That coupe looked good with the biscuit interior. What price was it up for?

I share the passion too.I do like mint original Audi S cars from aby S2,s to last of the AAN,s in the S6. The reason why is after owning a B4 V6 Avant for 14 years and nothing ever going wrong except hall sender which is commom on higher mileage cars they are so reliable and built much better than audi's since. Not forgeting the timeless design of the B4 and C4 S models. Oh.... if i had the cash for the S2 saloon.I do, but its all tied up in the house. My wife wouldn't thank me if i sold it to put mint S cars in a private museum.

hope you like the pictures. this is the sort of standard of car i am looking for. to me, it doesnt matter what age a car is. there is no reason why it cant still be like new after many years. all future cars will be judged / based on passed owned cars. i know from just at looking at a car whether i would have it or not.

will dig some more pics out later and post them up.

I have these pictures of this car when it was put up for sale a few years ago. There is no caption saying "My RS2". It is a very beautiful car and i guess you put it up for it's condition??

You have a very impressive collection Of top spec Golfs there. I remeber the mark 1 gti well. When they were current and sought after by the young crew circa late 80's i had a Mk1 golf but just a 1.5 still good though but my main pride and joy was my Triumph GT6 MK3 with its beautiful sounding 2.0 straight six.

I drove the Mk2 GTI and really liked it certainly one of the great cars and your's looks like timewarp condition.Very very nice.

Equally i look forward to seeing pictures of your next timewarp car hopefully B4 based
or even dare i say it C4 based with either ABY,ADU or ANN power.I feel your the man to pull the rabbit out of the hat.

Thanks for taking the time to post your pictures.
