Wow! So you ended up with it. I cannot remember exactley when it was for sale? If i had the cash at the time i would have beat you to it.

Beautiful stunning car. What's the mileage on it? Is the Cd changer still in that position?

Lovely RS2 and the Mk2 looks very clean indeed. Were they that good when you bought them or have you worked on them to get them looking so good? Are they both low milers?

That CD Changer in the Rear Boot and non-standard front windscreen wiper!!! Tut tut.

dealer fit sony 10 cd changer in the boot and swapped the wipers for standard fit, not the aero ones in the pics. photos were after i first got it and gave it a proper clean. up on the ramp job !

both were good bases to start with but many hours spent cleaning and polishing. think the RS2 had 70 odd thousand miles on when i sold it. the vr6 i have owned twice. first bought with 40k miles on, then second time about 50k miles, sold on 60 odd thousand miles. the mk2 gti is in current daily use ( or every other week as i car share ) and now on 73 thousand miles. probably the best unmolested mk2 gti out there at the moment. very cheap to run too. fully comp with 6k agreed value for 104 pounds a year !

So owned since new. If only. I decided a house was more important back in 1993 and only cost me another £15,000 over the £45,000 RS2.

I own a low mileage Volacano black Fully loaded V6 Avant 1 owner from new accept me.Interior is like new!

Volcano being a firm favorite for me as far as B4 colours go.

no, misunderstanding. i did not own it from new. bought it about 5-6 years ago. not in my possesion now. just running the mk2 golf gti now. on the look out for a nice s2 to have in the garage. future investment etc.
