How won't it work without modification?? I thought that an s2 harness would plug and play into a coupe quattro

You're converting to AAN... you would need ABY S2 harness. 3B uses different ignition (distributor vs coils)

Can't you change the harness over from distributor to coils??
I also thought that the ABY s2 was a 3B?
I'm new to the old Audi world so I don't know much
