    Hi Paul,

Audi Tradition did have the Recaro seat heater elements available a few months ago as I bought some. They are no longer available through the dealer so get some before they sell out!
Harness and switches you should be able to find easy enough, if not drop me a line I can make one for you

Thanks Alex, will keep an eye out...

Always thought it strain that the RS2 in UK did not come with heated seats when my humble 90 Quattro Sport 20V had them !

Wanted - Heated Seat Pads, Wiring & Switches ?

Paul, I have a spare loom and switches I bought from Joe in the US, now surplus to requirements as the new avant has heaters!
PM me and I'll dig it out.
I do need a set of pads for the cabby recaros in the coupe though if you find a supply..

          Newsh,

          You're a star !

I read a post tonight that leads me to hope that my RS2 might have the heated pads in the seats so its fingers crossed

If I find any sources of pads I will let you know. I checked on audi.7zap and it says the same pads were used in the RS2 and cabriolet and several other models.. http://audi.7zap.com/en/rdw/audi+80+.../963-963010/#1

Let me have your paypal account and I will organise the payment..

          Thanks

          Paul

Here you go - the elusive Recaro heated elements - get 'em while you can!

Is there a difference between Recaro and normal coupe pads ?

Yup, different size & shape. I have adapted some URS4 ones into a set of Recaros before, you basically need to harvest the heater wire and make your own element up. I bought the proper Recaro ones off AT for my car. This was back last year when the exchange rate was good, but still cost around £250 for the set

Its a bit of a myth I think. I've never been lucky enough to find any anyway.
