they are £120 ish from TPS but I've heard rumours about a VW van one that's a lot cheaper and same pump

I bought the "universal" Bosch for 30 quid off ebay some time ago. Doesn't fit same as original as it's slightly shorter of I remember correctly but works a treat and much cheaper too.

Get the Bosch number off the original. Washing machines use them. I think I had to trim a tab down for the plug to fit that's it.

Vw t4 one from a 2.5tdi acu engine is the one to use. I pulled one off mine and fitted straight to the s2 in order for me to get a new one when I had time and then swapped them back

In used the Bosch 0392020039 for 4 cars yet.

A bit shorter but works perfect.
