But the trip computer can messure both.
So if you have a aftermarket ECU what sends out a anlog signal, you can connect it on the trip computer.
PWM is also posible.....but you need a scope to find out the curve....that's correct.

Are you sure the trip computer can measure both?
There is also pretty much no curve. The duty cycle is directly proportional to IPW and that's it.

Duty cycle = consumption constant * IPW.

I have disassembled the entire routine in the stock ECU ...

      Tripcomputer

      Hi Prj,

i'am sure that the trip computer can support 0-5 volts input.
      The Motronic doesn't have this.
Here i a pic of my setup with 0-5 volts.
Made the curve with this setup.

        thats good Jaap.

Can the TPS be combined to the trip computer which in turn can provide the rest of the info for us? What else would be needed?

Ok, this is good news. It means that it is possible to do it both ways, either as PWM signal or as analog signal

            Sorry, i don't know....you can try something.
            I haven't got a S2....so cant try or mesure.

Any confirmation if this went the way of the Dodo or is just held up in development?

Just to bump an old thread. Is there a way for VEMS to feed a consumption signal to OBC?

Same here. Would like to keep the trip comp if switching to VEMS.

ive read that it is possible via injector size/duty/etc to calculate it, but nobody cares much to develop
