Cool. Were did you get your sensor? Im thinking of adding maybe 25% to petrol on track to cool things a bit and add some power. Methanol is easy to find here but not ethanol.

      I don't have one.

Make sure you do get one that's compatible with your ecu.

I think for vems i need a in between box like the zeitronic controler. This converts the output of the alcohol sensor to a 0 to 5 v signal vems is happy with.

Or this one has an output that should work with a converter. Kit comes with connector and an6 connections.

Hi, the Zeitronix ECA-2 works nice... has 0-5V output for E and Temperature

I fitted one set to a VEMS S2 car with AIM Display.

I have one spare set I do not need anymore. It is new and unused. (first pricture)
If somebody needs it - PM me // SOLD!

I sent zeitronic an email and they told me it doesn't read methanol only ethanol. Have you ever tried methanol in it? If so i am interested.

Im also interesred in your Speedo dash setup. What make is it? I want something like this for my urq but it must be road legal so needs odometer etc.

              Thanks

I never tested with methanol... I could test it on bench but I have no methanol...

Most windscreen washer fluid is mostly methanol. I would be great if you could test maybe 10 and 20 % methanol in petrol with this. I am expecting readings which are much higher than with ethanol. So 10% might read as 25% ethanol. If thats the case then i can use the sensor and yiu have a deal.

What dash do you have in those pictures?

Are you happy with the aim dash? Would you buy again? Which model? Thanks.

It is in a friends car, not mine. Old MXL Pista. It works without issues but I think it is to restrictive because of the static LCD display. I would prefer one with a full configurable LCD display like MXS or MXG or similar from other manufacturers.

Be interesting to know if this one supplied by maxx ecu for their units is the same GM part no?

                          http://www.maxxtuning.eu/products/en...thanol-content

This is what we used on my mates Syvecs ECU. Once I've upgraded my stock return fuel line to something more ethanol resistant thinking of fitting one to my car too.

I'll guess MaxxECU will work with all most common flexfuel sensors. I will also use one soon with Maxx...

MaxxECU uses the most common sensors. The one zentronix use for example.

MaxxECU also have the contamination signal implemented. so if the ethanol have water in it, MaxxECU will warn you of this.

                                The zentronix wont.
