    EBC Reds for Boxter calipers?

Just dfiscovered these pads, I think they are the right ones for the 996 Boxter S calipers but not 100% sure, they are listed for the Boxter 2.7 and 3.2?

I fitted Boxster "S" front calipers to my avant last year. I bought the pads from Wallace Performance. Delivered price was £86 incl vat. I seem to remember that this was including the anti-rattle shims (2 cylinders on a sticky back plate).
That was back in Oct 04 and was the cheapest price I could get anywhere. It took a bit of haggling and price matching to other companies, but it worked.
If you're interested, let me know and I will dig out the number tonight.

Oh, that is the correct part number for the front Boxster "S" caliper.

      Cheers

      Alistair

        Hi Alistair,

I have the following from a parts list for pads for the monoblock 996. I gather these are the same as the Boxster 'S' but BRY can confirm that.

EBC Green : DP21278-F (should be used for all standard street vehicles)
EBC Red: DP31278-F (used on muscle cars, faster and heavier BMW models)
EBC Yellow: DP ????? (should be used for track days)
EBC Blue: DP ????? (should be used on heaviest and fastest off road race use)

The comments (in brackets) are EBC guidelines for the pad types

        Cheers n
