Does anyone here upgraded s2 coupe rear brakes for a bigger ones, any ideas?
if i have rs2 callipers can i easy fit them on s2?

I think with RS2 calipers you will have a problem with the handbrake mechanism. I just fitted EBC discs and red pads to the stock setup and its a major improvement, not bigger though so still looks small in the 18s.

search the forums, i'm sure there was an S8 rear caliper which could be used with a vented, larger diameter rear disc setup....sigpic

It's been covered several times with different aproaches. There are several different options, the ones that seem feasible on a reasonable budget all seem to revolve around S8/S4C4/S4B5/S6 combo's and then front discs from late VW/Audi. Note that the setups for Sedan/Avant differ from Coupe versions when you start searching the forum.Comment

I should have my rear brake upgrade ready soon. I'll be sure to post pictures on my project thread as well as feedback on how the setup works. I went with the S8 caliper carriers with new beetle 280x25 vented rotors and urs4 calipers.
