Dan, Please let me know how you get on with this one. I have Porsche monoblocks on and RS2 hardlines - I am looking to replace the remaining flexi hoses with braided lines but VAGParts drew a blank and suggested Tekkno435 as a possible source (still waiting to hear from him re price and availability).

I will send pm and see if there's any progress.

    Derek.

Yes they're the ones - I was just a bit confused as the main title description says for RS2, but then the detail description says for Big Reds - I figured that because the Big Reds run on a bigger diameter disc that the caliper lies further "out" so the connection to the hose would be in a different place, meaning this solid pipe wouldn't work for both?

yeah understand, though even on the 996 calipers which have a centred hole for the hardline compared to the RS2's offset (lower than centre) you can manipulate these quite easily by just making a couple of small kinks in the pipe.

Pedal feel is soo much better with a rigid pipe, I'll wait a few months then make the top flexi's braided so that should improve them again.

I've been meaning to do this for a long time, as you say it does improve the pedal feel rather a lot. Another order coming the way of VAGParts it would seem!

              Cheers Dan!!!

We will also have a full set of ALL the stainless steel lines available REAL soon too! :-) the RS2 ones are done, and soon we'll have Coupe kits, Avant kits and S2 Equipped with big red kits, Coupe or Avant!!

I've had hoses made to my specs, so they'll all be stainless steel and clear coated brake lines, with stainless steel not zinc ends and TUV approved too :-)

If anyone wants a full set of hoses, or just the fronts, or just the rears etc... please e-mail me as I'll be getting the hose order placed very soon. Mail me on martyn@partsforaudi.info

Having recently done the monoblock upgrade, including using your lovely RS2 hardlines, the one thing remaining for me is the flexi lines, so I would certainly be interested.

Can you give us some feeling on prices please?

                  Cheers n
