I have but didn't like to say that you don't fit the brackets that way round.
You must have worked that out or they wouldn't be any where near!

I felt quite sheepish when trying to fit the disc with the carrier on backwards

Ha ha. I spotted the deliberate mistake, but I guessed you worked it out in the end. So I kept .

                Hi everyone !

I went to a US military supermarket today to stock on some cheap US foods. About 100km round trip and I've been taking it easy on the brakes to bed them in properly but I can definetly feel a big difference in braking power already. Especially when coming off the highway, even braking not hard at all, the Porsche upgrade slows the car down just like if I was pressing the pedal twice as hard with the standard brakes

Very impressive and you can feel there's so much more braking power still in reserve !

                Me so happy !

                Take care,

                David

P.S.: My Audi rings caliper decals arrived today

Have you performed the bedding procedure I told you about...makes one helluva difference

                      Hi Si !

You've been mentioning this procedure every time we've met and also during our various PM's but... ahem... you've never sent it to me so I could follow it.

Better late then never as they say !

Take care, Si and thanx again !

Thanx Erik ! I am REALLY enjoying them now that the bedding in is finished ! Why didn't Audi fit the front axle only with Porsche calipers in the first place to the S2, I'll never know but I can understand why RS2 owners feel so smug on the track when S2's show up...:mischeif:
