Under 16" Avus rims; 996 monoblocks, A8 314mm x 30mm discs, Seat Cupra R brackets modified by BRY and RS2 brake hardlines fit perfectly !

waste of time using uprated standard sized discs, keep with the stock stuff and make sure the braking system is in good condition and that all the psitons move freely. The braided hoses are a very good move as is the uprated fluid but there is no improvement in aftermarket discs, all you do is pay more money for inferior quality parts.
Save your money and upgrade to the Porsche monoblocks.

314x30mm A8 discs and 996 caliper's do fit under a 16" wheel but you cannot use a stock bracket to enable this to fit, either modify the bracket or have a custom one manufactured.
If you want a bolt on kit use the 323x30 disc, 996 caliper's and an RS2 brake bracket and a 17" wheel.

All this information is on this forum you just need to look for it

17" is perfect, I have it on myne: 968 club sport calipers, RS2 brackets and fixed lines, A8 discs, EBC green pads RS2, its straight on, easy work

If there is one upgrade to do on the S2, this should be the first !

          thanks for the tip.

i wasn't just posting a question without having looked for an answer, i've spent seveal hours reading through all the old threads on the braking system, and some of the advice/comments are quite contradictory.....thats why i asked.

Wow, May sell for alot of money.
Also I prefer not to buy off eBay, but I'm tempted to bid on this, never know where your luck is.
