Quick fix to remove ABS fault warning light!!?

ok. To cut a long story short I allowed my road tax to lapse and realised at the same time the MOT expired last month.
I've got an ABS fault and two new sensors to fit!! (theyre missing being the problem most likely!) I know they are an easy job but I have to remove a hub first to clean it up as the previous idiot owner didn't seal the ABS sensor hole....just left it open

I know the car will fail for the ABS light being on so I want a quick fix to help it through the test tomorrow and then I will fix it fully on its return (MOTd and taxed hopefully)
if it fails I will have to declare it SORN until she's sorted NOt good.

So...is there a fuse somewhere that I can pull that will de activate the damn light?? or even the main ABS ECU harness?

or is removing the bulb from the dash the only way forward??!! (I know...a real botch )

    THANKS

If they see the pump they will fail the car if you do not have the light working either but you may be lucky???

they do not perform a test on the abs system, they say if its fitted it needs to work,

from previous experiance if they do not see that you have an abs fault they will be non the wiser,

take your clocks out and twist the bulb out, takes bout 10mins to do,

But they are supposed to test that the light comes on and then goes out again...

AFAIK that is all they test for ABS, all the other brake tests are as per non-ABS cars.

                Hehe
Good plan Wab!!! Will do that....cancelled the test today cos I found some brake pipes corroded that were beyond wire brushing (and also other problems!) Gonna change them tonight and book it in last thing Friday all being well!! Though I will hopefully have fixed the ABS by then unless it is the ABS ECU in which case the bulb is a comin out (and going through the windscreen at high velocity!!)
