Great brakes, but a pain in the butt (and wallet) when it comes to maintenance.

Alcon don't make it easy to get info and buy their stuff (unless you're running a rally team !), but they've been on and lasted for just over 11 years now and the grooves are beginning to wear off , so hoefully they'l last at least another 10

Does 13/14Nm for the bell/hat bolts sound about right

changed the discs today, If anybody wants the old ones to re-machine/modify (originally (13")330mm/30 mm thick on a 12/203.2mm (8") pcd, then let me know , you'd have to pay for postage or I'd bring them to the next meeting I attend, would have posted pics , but can't seem to get them into the post anymore

quick thanks to Bry & Corey for their suggestions on alternative option/s

I am having similar problems finding replacement discs for my ap calipers (330/28mm) dont suppose anyone has any for sale or could point me in the direction of a good retailer. Have been quoted £465 for the discs alone so far was hoping to do better!!

              Any help would be appreciated.

Is it a 2 piece disc ?, drilled, grovved, vented ? pcd: ?, there were definitely a few options available on a 330 by 28 or 32mm, DBA and a few others have them, I'm sure Corey or Bry can help with some suggestions/alternatives

Yes they are two piece with 12 bolts holding them to the bells/top hats, vented and grooved. I think the pcd is 35 but i havent measured it, is that the depth of bell/top hat?

The pcd is the diameter of the mounting holes on the inside of the disc, typically on a 330mm disc it should be (8" = 203.2mm), you should double check it though. Also worth checking US sellers who do a lot of Wilwood or performance friction rotors, I'm guessing Brembo will also do one at your size.

I think the "35" you're referring to is the wheel offset
