  • BMW E38 4 pot Brembo brakes.

    Hi,
Have someone using those brake calibers? What disc will go with those calibers in front to S2?

  • #2
It would be better to buy Boxster s front calipers or you will need the right discs with right pad swept area and hat height on discs and custom brackets for your s2 btdt.

If im correct you have 314mm rotors under your S2 replica.

I have already installed Brembo brakes in my car but i need to rebuild calibers. But to me it looks that those brakes with disk dont use all the surface. Inner side of disk i have 2cm unused surface.

Risto has a replica S2 sedaan, not talking about your coupe S2.

Risto, changing rotors doesnt help you with the problem you have. You have to use other pads than BMW uses because the hat size is different on BMW rotors.

Thats why i made this topic. Maybe i have wrong pads for my setup. So 314mm disk is ok? So what pads is correct for this setup? Anyone knows?

                      I've a b3 with Brembos.
But 4 stud. It uses focus rs discs.

4 studs? You mean with 4 pistons? What size of discs and what pads you use?

Can anyone say what pad goes with 314mm disc?

No. On my b3 90q. I think they're 17". Too big for anything smaller.
